Wicklow footballers train with the best

Wicklow's senior footballers will train at Manchester United's Carrington training ground today.

The players from the Garden County will also meet psychologists, nutritionists and dieticians from the Premiership club.

Manager Hugh Kenny has wielded the axe and dropped 19 players from last year's squad, including Rathnew top scorer Tommy Gill, Ronan Coffey and Brendan Ó hAnnaidh.

Wicklow face Dublin in their first competitive game in the O'Byrne Cup in January.
