Kilkenny hurling boss Brian Cody has vowed to "freshen things up" with the appointment of two new members to his management set-up.

The All-Ireland winning Cats chief said he will operate a shared management with Martin Fogarty, Michael Dempsey and Mick O'Flynn.

Fogarty guided the Kilkenny U21s to back-to-back All-Ireland titles, while Dempsey trained the side.

Cody stressed that there would not be defining roles of selectors, trainers or managers.
