NFL champs Tyrone to begin defence in Dublin

League and All-Ireland champions Tyrone will begin the defence of their NFL crown with an opening day clash with Dublin in the capital.

Last year the Dubs played Armagh at Croke Park on opening day attracting a huge crowd and the option to stage the game at Headquarters is being discussed.

Elsewhere, Meath will face Galway in a repeat of the 2001 All-Ireland final on February 1 in the pick of the other opening day fixtures.
