Barry commits to Dunshaughlin for another year
Eamonn Barry has agreed to manage successful Meath football club Dunshaughlin for another year after missing out on the Royal County hotseat.
The former Meath captain was beaten to the county manager's job by Sean Boylan on Monday night for the second year in a row despite leading Dunshaughlin to a Leinster club title.
Barry said: "I was surprised that I got only 19 votes. But life is full of ups and downs and, as I'm a positive person by nature, hopefully in a few years time I'll get the chance to manage the Meath team.”
