Maurice Fitz can return, says Kerry selector

Kerry football selector Ger O'Keeffe has told former AllStar Maurice Fitzgerald that he is welcome to rejoin the county panel after a lengthy absence.

The St Mary's clubman retired under former boss Páidi Ó Sé and was left out of the first team regularly before packing it in.

However, at age 33 he may still have a couple of years left in him and O'Keeffe said: "If Maurice is interested in regaining his place on the Kerry side he should let us know.”
