Dunshaughlin boss Eamonn Barry has confirmed that he'll contest the Meath senior football manager's position having run Sean Boylan so close last year.

Boylan is expected to plump for a 22nd year in charge but Barry, a former captain under Boylan in the early '80s, wants the position too and is highly thought of after leading Dunshaughlin to the Leinster club title last year.
