Fitzpatrick to miss Laois/Armagh tie

Laois half-back Kevin Fitzpatrick will miss Sunday's quarter-final meeting with All-Ireland champions Armagh.

Laois half-back Kevin Fitzpatrick will miss Sunday's quarter-final meeting with All-Ireland champions Armagh.

The Games Administration Committee announced that Fitzpatrick was suspended for four weeks having been sent off in the Leinster Football Final against Kildare on July 20.

Fitzpatrick was handed his marching orders for a foul on Kildare's Tadhg Fennin.
