Cody hails tenacity of Cats

Kilkenny boss Brian Cody has hailed his never say die Cats team for refusing to be beaten by Tipperary in the Div 1 league final.

In an amazing tie the holders came back from an eight point deficit late on to win out by a point.

Cody said: "It wasn't inspiration that won it for them just honesty and determination, a refusal to give in."
