Former All-Ireland winning manager Nicky English has agreed to a take up a role in the development of underage hurling structures in Dublin.

Former All-Ireland winning manager Nicky English has agreed to a take up a role in the development of underage hurling structures in Dublin.

English has already been linked with the manager's position and the director of hurling in the capital but has turned down both.

However, Dublin schools officer and DCU GAA director Tom O'Donnell, revealed: "Nicky is doing this on a voluntary basis and he agreed to do it as soon as I asked him."
