Moran appointed Derry boss
Mickey Moran has been appointed as Derry senior manager.
Moran succeeds Eamon Coleman who stepped down following Derry's exit from this year's championship.
Moran has already had two spells in charge of the Oak Leafers ending initially in 1984 and again in 1995.
Maghera man Moran said: "I've had four wonderful years with Sligo and two with Donegal. Basically, the main reason to quit Donegal was the travelling. It's nice that I can be up in Owenbeg (Derry's training headquarters) in 12 or 14 minutes."
