McDowell named golfer of the month

Ireland’s Graeme McDowell has been named European Tour golfer of the month for August.

The 23-year-old from Portrush in Co Antrim has played just a handful of tournaments as a professional and managed to win the Scandinavian Masters on his 4th appearance.
