Cork GAA officials reject Cusack's claims
GAA officials in Cork have rejected claims by the county’s hurling goalkeeper that players joining the GPA would be jeopardising their chances of playing for Cork.
Donal Og Cusack claimed players were told joining the Gaelic Players Association would harm their selection chances.
The comments threatened to cause a rift in Cork hurling, but county board chairman Jim Cronin has insisted the comments are not true.
Mr Cronin has also vigorously denied Cusack’s claims that facilities for players are sub-standard.
