Cork V Kilkenny in Division One final
Today is the last day of the Allianz National Hurling League for this season as the counties begin to turn their attention to the summer’s action in the All Ireland Championships.
Before that though the Division One and Division Two finals take place in Semple Stadium in Thurles today.
First up is the Division Two final between Antrim and Laois where the throw-in was at 1:45pm. However, the highlight of the afternoon is undoubtedly the Division One showdown between Cork and Kilkenny which begins at 3:30pm.
Both sides have shown some impressive form during their league campaigns without recalling many of their star names.
Kilkenny’s talismanic forward, DJ Carey has not yet played for the Cats this season as selectors seek to keep their stars well rested ahead of what promises to be a gruelling summer campaign.
