The leesiders trailed 0-04 to 0-03 at the interval and 1-06 to 0-04 in the second half but Diarmaid O'Sullivan lofted a goal and quickly added two points.

Brendan Ger O'Sullivan (two) Conrad Murphy and Philip Clifford gave the rebels a four-point cushion and they held on for their first win of the current league campaign.
