Watch: Peter Crowley's great goal key to Mid Kerry win

Kilcummin had a dream start with Philip Casey firing through a crowded goalmouth for a stunning goal after 90 seconds. Favourites Mid Kerry didn’t panic though and their hard work was rewarded when half forward, Gary Sayers netted in the 10th minute from an acute angle.
Four minutes later they had their second goal: Darran O’Sullivan set up midfielder Colin McGillycuddy who raced through from 30 years before firing an unstoppable shot past Brendan Kealy.
The free taking of corner forward, Kevin McCarthy, kept Kilcummin in touch and left them a point adrift at half time (2-4 to 1-6). With Shane McSweeney impressing at midfield, Kilcummin started the second half strongly.
A William Maher point and two pointed frees from Kevin McCarthy and Philip Casey edged them one ahead with 20 minutes remaining.
But, despite losing All-Star forward Donnchadh Walsh to injury, the experienced Mid Kerry side responded in style.
Four points in-a-row between the 41st and 46th minutes from Darran O’Sullivan, Gary Sayers, Liam Carey and sub Pádraig Doona were followed by a great goal from Peter Crowley which pushed them six points clear.
And there was no way back thereafter for Kilcummin who now head to the losers round.
