St Brendan’s College show no mercy as Coláiste Na Sceilge’s hopes dashed

St Brendan’s College, Killarney 4-15 Coláiste Na Sceilge 1-4: St Brendan’s College, Killarney maintained their unbeaten record in the Corn Uí Mhuirí group stages when crushing Coláiste Na Sceilge in this one-sided affair in Milltown yesterday.

Once St Brendan’s corner forward, Donnchadh O’Sullivan goaled in the 20th minute, after a superb offload by David Clifford, the result was never in doubt.

Coláiste Na Sceilge had a superior points difference to St Flannan’s, Ennis entering this final game, and even a single digit loss to their Kerry rivals, may have seen them make the last eight. But there was to be no miraculous progression for them as they were flat throughout the pitch and can have no complaints about their exit from the competition.
