Mayo timing Championship push perfectly, reckons O’Neill

Cork star Colm O’Neill believes Mayo have adapted their game this year to ensure they can peak at the right time.

O’Neill was part of a Cork side beaten by a point against the Connacht champions in the All-Ireland quarter-final, while they overcame Roscommon by the same margin. He thinks the westerners have learned lessons from 2012 and 2013, when they reached All-Ireland finals.

“Mayo are probably doing things differently than they have done in previous years,” he said.
