Cronin wants dual stars back fit and with medals in pocket

Cork hurling captain Pa Cronin says he’ll be glued to Sunday’s Munster football final — to make sure the county’s dual stars all avoid injury.

Three key hurlers — Eoin Cadogan, Damien Cahalane and Aidan Walsh — have been named to start against Kerry in the provincial football decider.

Cronin naturally hopes his county wins the first of two Munster senior finals involving Cork teams at Páirc Uí Chaoimh on consecutive weekends. But he’s equally focused on the trio simply pulling through what’s likely to be a hard-hitting encounter without any fresh injuries ahead of the hurlers’ clash with Limerick.
