The GAA director general appreciated the unfortunate error by a Hawk-Eye official in incorrectly adjudging Barry Nash’s point attempt to have gone wide in Limerick’s extra-time All-Ireland MHC semi-final defeat to Galway last month. The incident is the subject of a case, which will be heard by the Disputes Resolution Authority this evening as Limerick contest the validity of the drawn result after normal time.

However, Duffy has wholeheartedly backed the system and sees it being introduced to Thurles.
