Marc Ó Sé isn’t one for panic, history has taught him the value of a cool head.

Ó Sé remains optimistic

Back in 2004, he was part of a Kerry team beaten by Longford in the first round of the Allianz League, Jack O’Connor’s first competitive game as manager. The following September they were All-Ireland champions.

Now, eight years on, the same feelings of early disillusion are welling in the county again after last weekend’s embarrassing defeat in Mayo.
