Wexford set for double header

WEXFORD GAA chiefs expect to receive the green light to host a hurling and football championship double-header at Wexford Park on Saturday week.

Victory over Antrim yesterday secured a provincial hurling semi-final meeting with Kilkenny at Wexford Park on Saturday week while the footballers are due out against Westmeath the following afternoon. The expectation is the football clash will now be brought forward to dovetail with the hurlers.
