The draw will see the eight winning teams from this weekend’s round 2 qualifier action, paired off in four games with the first team drawn in each instance being entitled to home advantage. The pairings for phase 3 of the All-Ireland hurling qualifiers will also be finalised tomorrow evening, with a draw only necessary if Limerick beat Offaly in tonight’s phase 2 tie.

The reason is that Offaly have already played Antrim in the Leinster championship and under rule they cannot meet again at this stage of the competition.

The pairings will see the two winning teams from phase 1 (Tipperary and Antrim) pitted against the winners of the phase 2 qualifiers between Dublin and Clare, and Offaly and Limerick. The GAA’s CCCC will meet on Monday when all times, dates and venues for the games will be confirmed.
