DERRY boss Damien Cassidy was very reluctant to discuss the controversy surrounding star forward Paddy Bradley who quit the Oak Leaf panel on Thursday night after being dropped for the Carlow game.

“I’m not even talking about who did, or didn’t, opt out of the panel,” said Cassidy, before eventually adding of Bradley: “He left of his own volition.”

Asked if he hoped, or would like, to see the Glunullin club man reconsider his position, Cassidy remarked: “That’s irrelevant at this time.”
