Banner boss McNamara hoping for ‘progress’ after defeat

CLARE manager Mike McNamara admits his side are a work in progress after Sunday’s NHL defeat to neighbours Limerick

Though satisfied Clare can make the League quarter-final if they win their next two rounds (home to Tipperary on Sunday and away to Offaly a week later), he wants to ‘see progress’ over the next two months.

“It is more important that players who are coming on stream start to show championship form.”
