Cork games off

THE GAC of the Cork County Board has acceded to a request from the senior football selectors to postpone a number of championship games involving county players.

As a result, the two IHC quarter-finals, Carrigaline (Nicholas Murphy) v Fr. O’Neill’s and Ballygarvan (Ger Spillane) v Kanturk, fixed for tonight, have been cancelled. Also cancelled is the senior football relegation game between Carbery Rangers and St Vincent’s and the SFC replay between Nemo Rangers and Clonakilty, both fixed for Friday night at Newcestown.
