It was a result that didn’t look likely in the opening 20 minutes of a lacklustre contest as Clare had the better of the early exchanges, but once Cork goaled, the outcome was never in doubt.
The win gives Cork their place in the final against Tipperary for the third year in a row, but they will have to improve to dethrone the champions.
