Cork show mettle when badly needed
Cork gained sweet revenge on the Déise following last year's championship defeat and tipped the scales superbly to send the Munster title back to Leeside for the first time since 2000.
But it could have all been so different because Waterford looked a class apart early on. After just 21 minutes Cork had only managed two scores, a goal and a point, and trailed by seven points as Waterford lorded it.
