Curran ‘thankful’ for club’s support

THE support of his St Finbarrs clubmates was instrumental in helping Ronan Curran win back his confidence and turn in another impressive display in Croke Park on Sunday.

Admitting he had suffered a worrying loss of form, Curran yesterday said he was ‘thankful’ for his club’s support.

“They were very good to me. You usually find out your friends when you are struggling - and they backed me. I suppose it did bring a bit of confidence back to me - and we are still in the championship.’’
