Dublin and Tyrone players lodge appeals

The appeals - from Dublin's Ciaran Whelan, Bryan Cullen, Kevin Bonner and Alan Brogan, and Tyrone's Michael Magee, Owen Mulligan and Kevin Hughes - have been lodged on an individual basis, with the knowledge and support of team officials. However, neither County Board is appealing the €10,000 fine imposed on each of them.

At Saturday's Central Council meeting Tyrone Secretary, Dominick McCaughey, and Dublin delegate, Gerry Brady, formally apologised on behalf of their counties for the incidents.
