John O'Keeffe's successor will be unveiled today in Croke Park, with many expecting Mick O'Dwyer to be appointed. However, there were strong indications yesterday that the Kerry legend will be overlooked once again.

Meanwhile, next year's Vodafone GAA Allstars tour will be going to Hong Kong. Approval for the tour following an invitation from the Irish community in the city was given by the Management Committee at the weekend, subject to a suitable venue being found to stage a game. This will involve the Vodafone All Star footballers of 2003 and 2004.
