Harlem Globetrotter has lucky escape

Forgive the fuzzy image, but he was falling at the time.

Harlem Globetrotter has lucky escape

The Harlem Globetrotters don't always get it right.

This Globetrotter narrowly escaped a very serious injury after clinging on to the rim of a basket and causing the glass backboard to shatter.

The hoop narrowly misses William "Bull" Bullard's head as the whole lot toppled over during an exhibition match in Honduras on Thursday.

If he had fallen under the hoop, and not in front of it, his injuries would have been a lot more serious.

As it was, Bullard dislocated his shoulder and was cut above his left eye.

Lucky guy!
