Brawn back to best in Bahrain

Ross Brawn is expecting his team to be back to their trailblazing best this weekend as a boiling Bahrain replaces a soggy Shanghai.

After dominating the opening two races of the season in Australia and Malaysia where Jenson Button scored notable wins, Brawn GP were knocked off their perch in China by Red Bull Racing.

Sebastian Vettel led home Mark Webber in a remarkable one-two for the team as they celebrated their maiden triumph in stunning style, relegating Button and team-mate Rubens Barrichello to third and fourth.

But that rain-lashed success is likely to be hard to repeat at the Sakhir circuit where hot, dry conditions, and with temperatures due to soar to a searing 37 degrees celsius, should favour Brawn.

With Button leading the drivers’ standings, and his team out in front in the constructors’ championship, Brawn could not be happier right now.
