Carey finishes last in heat

Michelle Carey has failed in her attempt to qualify from her heat in the women’s 400m hurdles at the Olympics in Beijing this afternoon.

The Dublin native finished last of seven starters behind heat winner Tasha Danvers of the US who set a time of 55.10 seconds.
