Dunne weighs in for fight against Argentine Marchiano
Bernard Dunne weighed-in today with a pound to spare on the 8-stone-12 weight restriction for his super-bantamweight fight with Argentinian Damien Marchiano at the National Stadium tomorrow evening.
The Dubliner is looking to continue his recovery from his European title loss to Kiko Martinez last year.
Dunne said he has no plans to move up to another division and wants to make his mark at his current weight.
Also on the card for the National Stadium tomorrow is fellow Dub Jim Rock, who's looking to make history when he fights Johnjoe Finnegan for the vacant Irish Light Heavyweight title.
The 'Pink Panther' Rock would become the first Irishman to win titles in four divisions.
