Formula One: Coulthard: 'Sex before a race makes me drive fast'

David Coulthard is convinced having sex before a race makes him drive faster.

Asked whether he has sex before his Formula 1 races, he said: "Sure, why not?"

Coulthard, who's 30, shares a sea-front Monte Carlo apartment with Brazilian heiress Simone Abdelnour

He added: "Sex makes you fast."

Johnny Herbert has said he's sure Coulthard can put pressure on Michael Schumacher this season, providing his McLaren car is reliable.
