Soccer: Soccer player faces assault charge
A Northern Ireland under-21 footballer is due in court tomorrow accused of drink-driving and assault.
Sean Friars, a regular in Premier League Ipswich Town's reserve side, was arrested after an incident in Ipswich at the weekend.
He is due to appear before magistrates at Ipswich accused of drink-driving, assault with intent to resist arrest, and obstructing and restricting a police officer.
Friars, 21, who comes from Derry but lives in Ipswich, is a winger who began his career at Liverpool and has made one first team appearance for Ipswich.
