Rowing: Record boat race in prospect

The annual Oxford-Cambridge Boat Race takes place this Saturday and experts are predicting it could produce a record time thanks to the recent bad weather.

Weeks of rain mean the tide on the River Thames is less strong than in recent years, and unless Saturday is exceptionally windy conditions are predicted to be very calm.
