Horseracing: Limestone Lad on course for Naas

Limestone Lad is set to return to action at Naas on Saturday.

James Bowe's tough performer will revert to hurdles after winning four of his five starts over fences.

The nine-year-old is to be aimed at the race again this season.

Limestone Lad, runner-up to Bacchanal in last year's Bonusprint Stayers' Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival, missed an intended engagement in the Christmas Hurdle at Leopardstown because of a muscle problem in his back but has now made a full recovery.

And Bowe said: "He's in good form and will probably run in the Bank Of Ireland Hurdle at Naas at the weekend - he won it last year."

Limestone Lad's chasing career has been put on hold until after Cheltenham.
