Edmond Sexton edges James O’Donovan in Munster semi-final thriller

Edmond Sexton beat James O’Donovan in the last shot of a sensational Munster senior semi-final at Clondrohid on Friday.

O’Donovan opened with two huge shots to raise almost a bowl. Sexton cut the odds with a big fourth to the wind. Still O’Donovan had a good lead after five.

Sexton then got a great sixth, but O’Donovan beat it well. Sexton made the Bell Inn with his seventh. O’Donovan beat that too to push his lead towards a bowl.
