Basketball teams in friendly preparation

IN preparation for their European Championship games the Irish senior men’s and women’s basketball teams will play friendly tournaments next month.

The men will play a four nations friendly tournament in Cork and Dublin against Turkey, Denmark and England. The sides will play a series of games in Neptune Stadium, Cork on Thursday, September 2 and Friday, September 3.

They then move on to Dublin to conclude the tournament in the ESB Basketball Arena on Saturday, September 4.
