As the knockout stages of Euro 2024 approach, the spectre of penalties looms over the remaining teams, and none more so than England. 

In the aftermath of the Euro 2020 final defeat to Italy, Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho and Bukayo Saka, who missed their penalties, were the victims of vile online racist abuse.
