Writing the book on exhaustion

Ahem. I have a new book out. My relentless quest for publicity is in full swing — check out @gaaconomics on Twitter — and I am afraid you are going to have to listen to me here.

Although there is a great sense of accomplishment in finishing a book (anyone can start a book, and plenty of people do) there is also a sense of exhaustion, and a determination that everybody else should at least know about that exhaustion, whatever about the subject matter of the book.

It is called GAAconomics: The Secret Life of Money in the GAA and it explores the relationship between an organisation that is almost entirely amateur and its need to generate money to fulfil its obligations and mission.
