Dodging Bullets can gun down rivals

The racing at Cheltenham this afternoon is very competitive, but I’m more than hopeful that Dodging Bullets (3.05) can follow in the hoofprints of Far West, who landed the nap in style last weekend.

Dodging Bullets can gun down rivals

He was a bit disappointing at Aintree on his final race of last seasonm but it was at the end of the year and he was probably over the top at that stage.

I know he’s a horse Paul [Nicholls] likes, but he can take a bit of a grip. He jumped a lot better on his second and third runs than he did on his debut and he’s going in the right direction. Obviously he has Baby Mix to beat but we’re getting eight pounds from him and that’s a fair pull. He’s a horse with a big future and he’s still a novice, so this could be a very interesting season for him.
