Suffice to say, it’s been an interesting few days. It’s a while since my name featured in the final press conference before a big game but when my phone started pinging incessantly on Friday afternoon, I knew something was up.
I even received a text from a dyed-in-the-wool Sundays Well supporter, informing me that if I happen to bump into Leo Cullen any time soon, to tell him get his facts right in future. “It’s not the Cork mafia” he suggested, “it’s the Cork Con mafia”. If only.
