CLARE underage hurling is experiencing a halcyon era but it’s all even more satisfying again considering it’s only four years since our minors were beaten by Cork by 40 points.

That traumatic moment was so shocking that everyone in the county can nearly recall where they were when they heard the result (with Covid restrictions, very few were in Thurles that evening). We were on the floor.
