Confession: we're a little obsessed with Charlie Mahon's Grá Heart Mug (€39) here at Wish List. So imagine our excitement when a recent trip to Cork's English Market introduced us to its equally lovely sibling, the Mackerel Mug (€39).
Charlie's wife, Elmarie (who a little birdie tells us recently celebrated a roundy birthday — happy birthday!), says the original Grá design "blew me away with the simplicity of it" — and we can see why. There's a lovely story behind The Anglesea Collection, the latest launch from Wicklow-based Copperfish.
Created to mark the studio's 10th anniversary, the limited-edition range transforms timber reclaimed from the former Anglesea Stand at the RDS into handcrafted lighting and furniture. Made in Co Wicklow, the collection includes a table lamp (€435), pendant light (€895) and console table (€1,125), giving century-old pitch pine a beautifully stylish second life.
