Fermoy Flower and Garden Club will host a teaching demonstration entitled “The Joys of Nature” with Anne Cooney, Aoifa, on May 5 at 8pm in the Adair Hall. All welcome. Visitors €10.
Carrigtwohill Flower & Garden Club is delighted to host Margaret Coughlan on May 5 at 8pm at Carrigtwohill Community Centre. The topic will be “Plant pot to cooking pot. Growing fresh herbs”.
Kanturk Flower and Garden Club will meet on May 6 at 8pm at The Temperance Hall, Strand Street, Kanturk, with guest speaker/demonstrator Catriona Bohan from Burtons Garden Centre, Kanturk. Catriona will speak on spring gardening, and will bring plants to sell on the night. Everyone welcome. Entrance €5.
Ardfield Rathbarry Gardening Club will meet on May 7 at 8pm in the Parish Hall, Rathbarry, P85 RY79. The guest speaker on the night is Patrick Cotter and the topic is “April Showers to May Flowers”. Teas/coffee and home baking will be served. Admission is €8. All are welcome.
Cobh Flower and Horticulture Club will hold its next meeting on May 11 at Cobh Community Centre. Doors open at 7pm for 7.30pm sharp start. A floral demonstration will be given by Eileen O’Brien, Aoifa, entitled “My Floral Highlights”. Visitors welcome. Admission €10.
The East Cork Flower Club will meet on May 11 (note week later due to bank holiday) at 7.30pm at St John The Baptist NS, Dungourney Rd, Midleton, P25 P028, with a club foral demonstration by Sandra Jackson, Aoifa. All Welcome. Visitors €7.
The Cork Summer Show returns for its biggest show weekend to date on June 20 and 21, 2026, at the Cork Showgrounds in Curraheen, with new traffic improvement measures being introduced across the full show weekend.
