Colour code

Is there a local space in Cork crying out for colour? Dulux put a call out for its returning Let’s Colour Project, aiming to brighten hundreds of community spaces across Ireland over the next three years — from GAA clubs to charity hubs and everything in between and has thanked all those doers with drab walls and dull halls who applied by the July closing date.

Organisers will be in touch with applicants by September. Dulux will be bringing back Let's Colour in 2026, so keep an eye out for the campaign next year!

Vintage finds

If you’re anything like me, you love a good bargain with a bit of soul. Catherine Carton of Dainty Dress Diaries is your go-to for styling thrifted treasures — from €3 candlesticks to charming car boot finds.

With a keen eye for vintage and a passion for upcycling, she shows how second-hand pieces can bring heart and personality to any home. For tips, DIY inspo, and weekly videos, visit Daintydressdiaries.com, follow @daintydressdiaries on Instagram, or watch her on YouTube @daintydiaries.

Road trip

We’re delighted to hear Russell & Bromley has landed in Kildare Village. It’s on our summer to-do road-trip list.

The iconic brand has just opened its newest outlet, offering luxury footwear and accessories at exclusive prices — all with the signature style and craftsmanship fans love.

This marks another milestone in its Irish expansion, following launches in Grafton Street, Brown Thomas, Cork, and Arnotts. Visit Russell & Bromley at Unit 85, Kildare Village, and discover timeless pieces from both current and core collections.

Park life

The Park Hotel Dungarvan is turning 35 and guests are getting the gift — nice! To celebrate, they’re offering €35 off all online room bookings made between July 4–11, valid for stays until December 31.

Overlooking the Colligan River and just steps from the Waterford Greenway, the much-loved four-star hotel is a favourite for weddings, walkers, and weekend escapes.

Book your stay at Parkhoteldungarvan.com or follow @parkhoteldungarvan for updates.

Sweet and spicy

Mr Tayto fans, get ready — there’s a new flavour in town. Say hello to Tayto Thai Rings crisps, the latest limited edition launch to hit the shelves.

Sweet, spicy, and tangy, this bold flavour twist brings the popular Thai Rings taste to classic Tayto flat crisps for the first time. Available now in shops nationwide — but only while stocks last.

Try them, snap them, and share and enjoy them. See Taytocrisps.ie.
