Can I sow tomato seeds now?

ANSWER

I always like to leave my tomato seeds until well into March and even April, when the year has nicely warmed up.

Sow them indoors in a warm environment — a kitchen window sill will be fine or a greenhouse if you have one.

After a few weeks you can pot on the little seedlings into individual pots and outdoor varieties can then be moved out from May onwards.
