Youghal Flower & Garden Club hosts its annual garden outing at 10am on June 13, to Margaret Naughton’s gardens, followed by dinner at The Elm Tree. Visitors welcome.

Join Annes Grove Botanical Walk at Annes Grove House & Gardens, Castletownroche, Co Cork, on June 13 at 11am. Tickets are available on Eventbrite.

Open Gardens Summer 2026 takes place at the garden of John and Hilary Terry, Seanabea Cottage, Ballyshane, Cloyne, Co Cork, P25E658, on June 14 from 2pm-6pm.

Ladysbridge and District Flower and Garden Club hosts its summer lunch at Ballymaloe House on June 17 at 10am. Members only.

Kanturk Flower and Garden Club will host its annual summer outing on June 21, visiting gardens in Tipperary — Suir View Garden; The Secret Garden; and Kilmacomma Garden — as well as a visit to Clonmel Garden Centre and an evening meal at Raheen House Hotel. The Cork Summer Show promises over 800 classes in action over two days on June 20 and 21 at the Curaheen Showgrounds, Cork. See Corksummershow.com.

Paint outdoors in the historic gardens at Annes Grove House & Gardens, Castletownroche, Co Cork, on June 27, 8.30am-5pm. The event features an on-easel exhibition and prizes of up to €500. Entry is €25; register at Eventbrite.

Galway Garden Festival takes place on July 4 & 5 from 11am-6pm, at Claregalway Castle, Co Galway. Multiple Bloom gold medal winners will present, with Oliver Schurmann, Mount Venus Nursery; Dr Jason Mc Eligott, director, Marsh's Library, Dublin; Sean O Gaothaoin, Glenveagh National Park, Donegal; Marina Levitina, filmmaker; and Neil Porteous, plantsman and historic garden consultant speaking on various gardening topics. Plant suppliers and nurseries, live music, fine food and more — a weekend to enjoy. 

On Saturday, July 11, and Sunday, July 12, Innishannon will again host Gardens and Galleries when local gardeners open their gates to the public, and artists and craftspeople display their creations. Register at the Parish Hall, €10.

The Saturday morning gardening club at Stonewall Gardens, Carrigaline, offers advice and a chance to get your hands dirty by planting and pruning. The €12.50 fee includes seeds, compost, tools, and tea/coffee. Book at Eventbrite.
